Early Reading For Children

What are some age appropriate reading books for early childhood children?

If an adult will be reading to the child I would say any of the Eric Carle books (k-1) Picture books are good King Bidgoods in the Bath Tub is good by Audry Wood. I also think any of the Dr. Seuss books are good.

If you mean that the child would be reading the book then again Dr. Seuss or any books that have repetition of sounds ie Ted in a Red Bed. also look for books with sight words, words that we use often. The old fashion Dick and Jane books are great. They have short sentences at the beginning level and gradually get longer. They have repetition of words and sounds.
